Ruben Egiluz Fernandez is an experienced software engineer and engineering manager with a diverse background in software development across various industries, including digital marketing and telecommunications. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Clarity AI since February 2024, Ruben has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Sematext Group, Inc. and as Technical Lead Manager at Sysdig. Earlier roles include Full Stack Engineer at Olympic Channel and Software Engineer at AdQuire Media, where work involved microservices and various database technologies. With a strong foundation in Extreme Programming practices and a focus on clean code and service architecture, Ruben also co-founded Liveplay, a video content-related social media startup. Ruben holds a Master's degree in Free Software from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Mondragon Unibertsitatea.
