Thomas James has extensive work experience in the real estate and finance industries. Thomas began their career at American Tower in 1998, where they served as a Senior Treasury Analyst and Senior Accountant until 2005. In 2005, they joined Clarion Partners LLC, starting as a Senior Associate in Portfolio Management and eventually progressing to Vice President of Portfolio Management, Senior Vice President of Asset Management, and Senior Vice President of Acquisitions. Their most recent role at Clarion Partners LLC is Managing Director of Acquisitions, a position they have held since March 2020.

Thomas James attended Boston College from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a degree in Accounting. Their field of study was Accounting and Finance. In addition to their degree, Thomas also obtained certifications in their career. In 2009, they received a certification called CIPM from the CFA Institute. Furthermore, in 2013, they obtained the LEED Green Associate certification from GBCI.
