Leya Bergquist is an experienced professional in Human Factors Engineering, currently serving as Associate Director at ClariMed, Inc. since January 2023. Previously, Leya held the same title at embecta from April 2022 to December 2022 and worked at BD from July 2011 to March 2022, where roles included Associate Director, Human Factors Engineering and Site Lead. Leya's earlier experience includes positions as Senior Manager and Team Leader for Product Development - Diabetes Care at BD, as well as a Biomedical Engineer at CorNova from July 2008 to June 2011. Leya began a career in development coordination at Sensor Technologies between January 2002 and July 2008. Leya holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University, a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, both from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
