Brian Canann is a seasoned healthcare investment professional, currently serving as Managing Director, Operating Partner, and Co-founder at NaviMed Capital since July 2011. With a focus on growth-stage investing in innovative North American companies, Brian has also held board member positions at ClariMed, Inc. and Argos Health, where Brian contributed to maximizing claim reimbursements for healthcare systems, and served on the board of Lucent Health, a national risk management and benefits administration firm. Their previous experience includes roles at AqueSys, Inc., Cleveland Clinic's Innovations Advisory Board, The Carlyle Group, and Medtronic, along with substantial marketing and product development roles at Edwards Lifesciences. Brian holds both a B.S. and M.S. from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
