James Griffith, Ph.D., CIP, serves as the Institutional Review Board Manager at Claremont Graduate University since February 2017, overseeing IRB operations and human subjects protections while also supporting other institutions within The Claremont Colleges Consortium. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Fellow and HRPP Consultant, advising on IRB policies and procedures, as well as an Evaluation Associate where evaluation projects focused on underrepresented minorities in STEM fields. James Griffith held the position of Project Director for the IMPACT initiative at Claremont Graduate University, securing significant funding and leading research efforts in digital pedagogy. As a Lecturer at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, teaching critical thinking and philosophy courses fostered a strong commitment to education. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Philosophy with an emphasis on Epistemology of Inquiry and Evaluation, alongside two Master’s degrees in Evaluation and Applied Research Methods and Philosophy, each from Claremont Graduate University.
