Jay Allen possesses extensive experience in the technology sector, primarily at IBM since January 1989, where roles include Cloud and Cognitive Technical Leader and Chief Community Architect for IBM developerWorks. In these positions, Jay has been instrumental in driving customer adoption of IBM BlueMix and overseeing the development of the IBM developerWorks community, collaborating with a diverse team to transform ideas into supported solutions. Earlier experience includes serving as a software engineer and teaching assistant at Northwestern University. Jay holds a Master's degree in Astrophysics/Physics from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics with minors in English and Math from Ripon College.
