DeAnn Brunts currently serves as Director and Audit Committee Chair at Heritage Grocers Group since December 2023, while also holding positions as a Committee Member for the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Committee and Public Company Director at Benson Hill. In their role at Benson Hill, DeAnn transitioned from Executive Vice President to Chief Financial Officer, leading two strategic acquisitions before securing the permanent CFO position. Additionally, DeAnn is a Director and Audit Committee Chair at Claire's, as well as a Public Company Director and Audit Committee Chair at B&G Foods, where DeAnn is also a co-founding member of the Risk Management Committee. Previous experience includes directorship at The Kempe Foundation, various executive roles from 1999 to 2022, and a tenure as Partner in Transaction Services and Audit at PricewaterhouseCoopers. DeAnn Brunts holds an MBA in Finance and Operations Management from The Wharton School and a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.
