Dwayne Hermes has an extensive background in the legal industry, with a focus on insurance defense. Dwayne started their career as a founding partner of Hermes Sargent Bates, LLP, a prominent insurance defense firm in Texas. During their time there, they played a crucial role in the firm's growth and success. In 2015, Dwayne founded their own law firm, Hermes Law, which aimed to provide a more streamlined and client-centric approach to solving legal issues. It was during this time that they also founded ClaimDeck, an InsurTech platform that facilitates efficient data exchange between insurance companies and law firms. As the CEO of ClaimDeck, Dwayne has been dedicated to lowering the cost of investigating, adjusting, litigating, and resolving claims through enhanced efficiency, uniformity, and transparency.

Dwayne Hermes obtained a BA degree from The University of Texas at Austin from 1978 to 1981. Following that, they pursued a JD degree in Law at the University of Houston, completing it in 1985.
