Naxieli (Nax) Gomez has gained extensive work experience since 2001. Naxieli (Nax) began their career as an Animator at XEIPN Canal Once de Televisión Once TV México, where they created, illustrated, and animated promotional segments and identifications, as well as acted as a prop designer for a live children's television show. In 2004, they became a Freelance, self-employed Independent Motion Graphics Artist, where they developed concepts and created brand identities for television stations and shows in Mexico City, including TV Azteca, Telemichoacán, and TV4 León. Naxieli (Nax) was also a character designer and animator for a pilot animated series, Upsi Dupsi, and a motion graphics designer and animator of television ads for Banamex. In 2007, Nax became a Senior Graphic Designer and Co-Founder at Design Diseño New York, as well as a Graphic Consultant at Mano a Mano: Mexican Culture Without Borders. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Volunteer Graphic Design Consultant at Texas Here To Stay, where they helped establish brand guidelines and redesigned a bilingual (English/Spanish) website. In 2022, they began their current role as an On Deck Fellow at On Deck.
Naxieli (Nax) Gomez has a Bachelor of Arts in Illustration from Facultad de Estudios Superiores Acatlán, a Master's degree in Graphic Design and Communications from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), and has completed courses for an MFA in Design and Visual Communications, General from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
