Jackson Lee, Ph.D., is an experienced Engineering Manager and Tech Lead at Civis Analytics, where responsibilities include leading teams of data and software engineers to build and maintain data pipelines for client projects. Since March 2022, Jackson has focused on scalable tools and frameworks for data integrations, overseeing a team that manages over 40 integrations between the Civis Platform and external data sources. With a background as a Senior Data Engineer and Data Scientist, Jackson has contributed to public sector client services and expertise in machine learning infrastructure. Previous roles include teaching and research assistant positions at The University of Chicago and The University of Hong Kong, alongside a rich academic background in Linguistics, culminating in a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.
