Alex Marino has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Support Associate at New York Deli. In 2008, they volunteered for Obama for America. In 2009, they joined Gap Inc. as a Non-Sell Associate until 2011. They then worked as a Communications Intern at Quinn for Illinois for a few months in 2010. In 2011, they returned to Obama for America in various roles, including Chief Mobility Officer, Head of LARPing Outreach, and Omni-Regional Lead Data Fellow. In 2012, they served as the Deputy State Data Director at Organizing for America - North Carolina. In 2013, they joined HomeFinder.com as a Reporting Analyst until 2014. Since then, they have been employed at Civis Analytics, starting as a Client Success Analyst and later transitioning to roles as Interim Team Lead, Client Success Analysts, then DevOps Engineer, and finally Senior DevOps Engineer.
Alex Marino obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Education from Saint Louis University between the years 2003 to 2007. Later, between 2009 and 2011, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Policy at Loyola University Chicago.
