Matthew Hemsworth is an experienced Project Manager currently working at Civil Mining & Construction Pty Ltd, overseeing the $40M Wyaga Creek Upgrade on the Gore Highway since October 2023. Prior to this role, Matthew held various positions at Georgiou, including Senior Project Engineer for the Coomera Connector Stage 1 and Area Manager for the Townsville Ring Road Stage 5, a $200M project. Matthew's experience also includes significant contributions at NRW Holdings as a Senior Project Engineer for the Eliwana Rail project and earlier roles at Seymour Whyte Group and Georgiou, where responsibilities encompassed a range of engineering tasks in major infrastructure projects. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from The University of Queensland and is pursuing an MBA in Project Management at CQUniversity until December 2024.
