Clark McClendon has over 30 years of work experience in the IT field. Clark began their career in 1987 as an Assistant Information Systems Director with the Navy Service and Support Organization. In 1988, they moved to Electronic Data Systems as a Systems Engineer, where they were part of a team responsible for the service and support of all computer related issues of the Engineering Research division of General Motors. In 1989, Clark became the Information Systems Director at Liberty Lloyds Insurance Company, managing a 100 user Novell network, supervising 3 programmers, and monitoring and scheduling system maintenance. In 1993, Clark opened Digital Office Systems, Inc. as the Owner and Senior Consultant, developing and designing software to facilitate front office automation. In 2011, Clark joined CivicSource as the Senior Data Acquisition Manager, responsible for all ETL processes and the primary contact for all data-related matters. Clark managed the importation of data for 130 clients.
Clark McClendon has a diverse educational background. Clark obtained a High School degree from H.L. Bourgeois High School in 1982. Clark also attended Northshore Technical College in 1982 and obtained an EMT-B in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic). In the same year, they attended Terrebonne Vocational Technical High School and obtained a Drafting degree. Finally, they attended Nicholls State University from 1982 to 1987 and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science. Additionally, Clark has obtained two certifications: A+ from CompTIA and Associate Tech Certification from Radiant POS Systems.
