Sophie Segal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sophie has worked at City Year UK since July 2015, starting as an Administrator and progressing through various positions such as IT and Operations Officer, Operations and IT Manager, Data Systems Manager, and Impact, Data and Evaluation Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Impact and Data, starting in August 2022. Prior to their time at City Year UK, Sophie worked as the Proprietor at Purplesage Solutions from February 2014 to July 2015. Sophie also owned and operated Purplesage Gourmet from October 2008 to February 2013. Before that, they worked as the Manager and Florist at The Willow Garden from September 2004 to September 2008 and as the Natural Remedies Manager at fresh and wild from August 2000 to February 2002.
Sophie Segal has a diverse education history. From 1985 to 1992, they attended King David High School in Liverpool but did not obtain a degree. Sophie then pursued a BA Hons 1st year credits in Philosophy & Women's Studies from 1993 to 1995 at London Metropolitan University. Later, they attended The Open University, completing a Certificate in Mental Health Studies in 2011-2012 and a BSc Hons Degree in Psychology and Mental Health from 2012 to 2015. Sophie also obtained additional certifications, including a Certificate in Public Health in 2015 and an additional Certificate in Mental Health Studies from The Open University in 2012.
