Bethany is the Research and Development Programme Manager at City Science and brings a background in retrofit and project management. She graduated from Swansea University with a masterā€™s degree in Engineering Leadership and Management following her undergraduate in Environmental Engineering. In her spare time, Bethany plays womenā€™s rugby, previously playing for England U20s, U18 TDG and Saracens. Through playing rugby, she has gained additional skills such as effective decision-making, teamwork, and emotional intelligence which she brings to her management role. Additionally, Bethany is big on promoting mental health awareness, filming programmes and hosting podcasts discussing mental health through one of the rugby teams she captains.
