Farhan Anwar has a diverse work experience. Farhan started their career as a Sales Associate at Jang Group of Companies in October 2006. After a year, they joined ARY Digital Network as a Business Development Executive in October 2007. In March 2008, Farhan moved to Eye Television Network Limited as a Sales Executive, where they worked until March 2009. From March 2009 onwards, they served as the Head of Sales at CityFM89.

Farhan Anwar completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Math (A + B) & Stats from Govt. Islamia College Civil Lines Lahore in the years 2002 to 2004. Farhan then pursued their Master's in Business Administration (Marketing) from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology Lahore Campus from 2005 to 2007.
