Ian Jempson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Ian worked as the Head of IT Management and Control at CityFibre from 2023, where they focused on establishing a framework for performance management and commercial management within the IT division. Before that, they served as the Head of Service Planning and Evolution at Virgin Media O2 from 2021 to 2023. At Virgin Media, they held the position of Director, Service Design from 2019 to 2021, responsible for operations strategy and technical segregation. Prior to that, they worked at Liberty Global as the Director of Operations Strategy and Integration from 2016 to 2019, leading organizational design and transformation. Ian also served as a European Transition and Transformation Specialist at Liberty Global from 2016 to 2018. Ian has also worked at Virgin Media in various roles, including Head of Service Operations, Manager of Service Transition, and Service Transition Manager, among others. Their early work experience includes roles at Adams Aviation Supply Co Ltd as the Goods Manager.

Ian Jempson attended Hayes School in Kent from 1990 to 1996, where they studied Business Studies.
