Winston Huang has a diverse work experience in various industries. Winston started their career as a Management Consultant at Monitor Deloitte in 2017, where they worked until 2019. During this time, they gained valuable skills in the field of consulting. In 2017, they also worked as part of the Health Workforce Program at Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. and in the Strategic Policy Unit at UNDP.
In 2019, Winston joined Cityblock Health, a company focused on improving healthcare for underserved urban populations. Winston initially worked as part of the Growth team, and later became the Chief of Staff to the CEO. In their role, Winston contributed to the development of a scalable solution to address the root causes of health inequities, working closely with partner organizations, health plans, community social services agencies, and communities themselves. Winston'swork involved integrating primary care, behavioral health, and social services to ensure Medicaid and lower-income Medicare beneficiaries had access to personalized healthcare services.
Prior to their consulting and healthcare work, Winston also had a brief experience in the political sector. In 2014, they worked at the United States Senate in the Office of Senator Ed Markey.
Throughout their career, Winston has showcased their dedication to improving healthcare access for underserved populations and has gained valuable skills in management consulting, policy development, and strategic planning.
Winston Huang has obtained an A.B. degree in Economics, magna cum laude, from Harvard University. Furthermore, they hold a Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification from the American Red Cross, which they obtained in 2014.
