Soyini Epps-Chan Shue has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. In 1993, they started their career as a Sergeant Special Assignment at the NYPD, where they worked until May 2016. In 2015, they co-founded City Safe Partners and served as the Managing Partner. In the same year, they also founded CitySafe Security Limited and held the position of CEO. Currently, since May 2016, they are the CEO of CitySafe Partners Security.

Soyini Epps-Chan Shue earned their Master's degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Marist College School of Management between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they received their Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Sociology from The College of New Rochelle. However, the specific start and end years for their Bachelor's degree are unknown.
