Jason Smith's work experience includes various roles in the IT field. Jason began their career at Yuma Regional Medical Center in 2010, starting as a Help Desk Operator and gradually progressing to roles such as Desktop Support Technician and Help Desk Coordinator. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Customer Services Supervisor in the IT department. In 2016, Smith became the I.T. Operations Manager, overseeing three teams responsible for supporting daily operations across multiple facilities. In 2017, they were promoted to Infrastructure Manager, leading teams in managing critical networks and systems. In 2019, Smith joined the City of Yuma, Arizona as an ITS Project Manager and later became the Assistant IT Director.
Jason Smith obtained an Associate's degree in Business from Arizona Western College from 2006 to 2009. Jason then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Analytics at Grand Canyon University from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, they earned a certification as a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute in July 2020.
