Ruben DeLeon currently serves as a Public Safety Officer and Corporal with the City of Woodway since August 2010, contributing to the mission of the Woodway Public Safety Department in preserving peace and order within the community. Additionally, since May 2013, Ruben has been a Long Range Specialist with the Woodway Special Response Team, functioning as a Team Sniper with responsibilities in mission planning, sniper training development, and evaluation of sniper-related equipment. As an Operator on the SWAT team, Ruben engages in tactical operations including high-risk arrests and hostage situations. Ruben holds a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Law Studies from Baylor University, awarded in 2010.
