Steve Johnston currently serves as the Operations Superintendent for the City of Wheeling, WV, a position held since March 2020. Prior to this role, Steve held the title of Business Continuity Coordinator at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from July 2007 to March 2020, specializing as a Business Continuity Planner. Steve's extensive background in public safety includes serving as Fire Chief for the City of Wheeling Fire Department from August 1976 to July 2007, where responsibilities included professional firefighting and paramedic duties, along with roles as an adjunct instructor at West Virginia University and an adult education instructor. Additionally, Steve was an Advisory Board Member for the Office of Law Enforcement Technology Commercialization from 1998 to 2005. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from West Liberty University.
