James Halstad possesses extensive experience in public safety and compliance, currently serving in the Code Compliance and Animal Services Division for the City of Venus since October 2015, while also working as a volunteer Fire Fighter for Venus Fire Rescue since April 2014. Prior roles include Safety & Security Coordinator at Ingram Micro Mobility, where safety policies and employee training were maintained, and Security Shift Supervisor at G4S, responsible for managing security personnel and enforcing company policies. James also has experience as a Correctional Officer with the Corrections Corporation of America and as a Shift Patrol Supervisor at Interstate Security Services LLC., where oversight of patrol officers and emergency response was conducted. James holds a Medical Assistant diploma from Anthem College-Minnesota and a high school diploma from Robbinsdale Cooper Senior High School.
