Diane W. Marlin currently serves as the Mayor of the City of Urbana, Illinois, a position held since May 2017. Marlin's professional background includes significant roles at the University of Illinois, where responsibilities included Coordinator of the Family Resiliency Center and Academic Professional from May 2000 to 2010. Additionally, Marlin was an Affiliate Faculty member at Parkland College from 1984 to 1998. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Foods and Nutrition, as well as Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Foods, Nutrition, and Related Services, all obtained from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
