Melissa Jackson is an experienced benefits specialist and human resources technician currently employed by the City of Tampa since April 2018. Previously, Jackson served as the employment services manager at the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice from May 2012 to July 2017, where leadership was provided to the recruitment unit and recruitment efforts were managed for an agency encompassing over 4,000 employees across multiple facilities. Jackson held the role of regional recruiter and acting employment services manager from December 2014 to July 2015, focusing on recruitment and selection within various regional offices. Jackson earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of South Florida College of Arts and Sciences between 1994 and 2009.
