Jon C. Yarbrough possesses extensive experience in operations and engineering within the City of Tallahassee, currently serving as the Manager of Streets & Drainage Operations since May 2002. Previously, Yarbrough held various positions including Supervisor of Drainage Operations, where oversight of storm water system maintenance was a key responsibility, and Maintenance Construction Chief, focusing on stormwater infrastructure. Prior experience includes roles at the Department of Growth Management, specializing in environmental reviews and permitting, as well as positions as Senior CAD Technician and Senior Engineering Technician in architecture and engineering firms. Yarbrough's military background includes honorable service in the United States Air Force as a Sergeant. Educational credentials include a degree in Building Construction Engineering Technology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and Certified Public Management studies at Florida State University.
