Stephanie O. has extensive work experience in community development and city planning. Stephanie started their career at NEWMAN, CITY OF as an Assistant Planner in July 2006 and later became a City Planner in July 2012. Stephanie worked in this role until June 2018. Stephanie then joined the City of Stockton, CA in July 2018 as an Assistant Director of Community Development. In January 2022, they were promoted to the role of Director of Community Development, which they currently hold.

Stephanie O. pursued their higher education starting from 2002. Stephanie completed their Associate of Arts degree at Modesto Junior College in an unspecified field of study in 2005. Stephanie then went on to earn their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from California State University, Stanislaus between the years 2005 and 2007. Continuing their educational journey, Stephanie obtained a Master of Public Administration degree specializing in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from California State University-Dominguez Hills from 2010 to 2012.
