Ben Sandell currently serves as the Communications Manager for the City of St. Louis Park, where responsibilities include developing and executing communication, marketing, and engagement strategies. Ben has a rich background in the arts and communications, having produced, directed, and performed in multiple productions at the Minnesota Fringe Festival and Victoria Fringe, where notable achievements include winning Best Storytelling Performance. Previously, Ben served as the Communications Coordinator for the City of Columbia Heights and held roles in communications for the City of Golden Valley, contributing to award-winning marketing initiatives. Additional experience includes reporting for various news outlets and working in customer service at the Guthrie Theater and Dorsey & Whitney LLP. Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/English from the University of Minnesota.
