Kent Spanky O'Dell has served as an At Large Councilman and Deputy Mayor in St. Joseph since 2014. Additionally, O'Dell has been involved with the City of St. Joseph since January 2006. Prior to their public service career, O'Dell was the owner of Midland Contracting from 1981 to 2012, specializing in communications contracting, swimming pool installation, concrete work, and excavation. O'Dell's education includes attendance at Central High and training at DuPont Explosives in Phoenix, Arizona.
