Sean McPherson, AICP, possesses extensive experience in urban and regional planning, currently serving as Acting Principal Planner and Senior Planner for the City of Rancho Cucamonga since September 2019. Previous roles include Senior Planner, Associate Planner, and Assistant Planner for the City of Glendora from October 2010 to September 2019, with responsibilities such as processing entitlement applications, preparing staff reports, and coordinating with Code Enforcement. Early career experience includes positions as a Planning Technician and Community Services Office Aide III, as well as internships with the City of Rancho Cucamonga and the City of Los Angeles, where contributions included reviewing site plans and assisting in community planning efforts. McPherson holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, in addition to an Associate's degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Citrus College.
