Justin Crickard is a seasoned professional in risk management and insurance, currently serving as the Manager of Enterprise Risk and Insurance for the City of St. John's since January 2022. Crickard also contributes as an instructor for the Insurance Institute of Canada, teaching courses on Risk Management Principles and Practices as well as Risk Assessment and Treatment. Previously, Crickard held the position of Manager, Evaluation, Privacy & Risk Mitigation at Newfoundland & Labrador Housing from October 2007 to January 2022, overseeing functions such as Enterprise Risk Management and Quality Assurance. In addition, Crickard has experience teaching in the Canadian Risk Management program at the Gardiner Centre, Memorial University. Crickard's educational background includes a Master of Employee Relations and a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University, along with a Health and Safety Certificate from the College of the North Atlantic.
