Jewel Edson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public service and business management. Since December 2016, Jewel has served as a City Council Member for the City of Solana Beach, holding positions including Deputy Mayor and Mayor, while also being a small business owner and board member. As Managing Director of J2 Strategy, a consulting firm specializing in go-to-market strategy in the semiconductor and software industries, Jewel has supported clients from start-ups to multinational corporations. Previous roles include Founder & Principal of JEM, a full-service event planning business, Director of Operations at Scanbuy, and Co-Founder of STRATAJIM INC. Jewel has also worked at Qualcomm as a Senior Event Planner, managing a variety of events.
