Allison Evans

Commissioner, Natural Resources Commission at City of Sierra Madre

Allison Evans, PhD, is a dedicated faculty member at California State University, Bakersfield, specializing in various psychology subjects, including social psychology and human sexuality since September 1999. In addition to their role at CSU, Evans serves on the board of the Heroic Imagination Project and works as a CSU QLT Faculty Associate, managing online learning quality initiatives. As a commissioner for the Natural Resources Commission in Sierra Madre and a consultant for remote learning at Kern High School District, Evans contributes to both education and community services. Allison's extensive experience also encompasses roles as adjunct faculty at College of the Canyons and a master reviewer with Quality Matters, where Allison has significantly impacted online course quality through various review and training certifications. Evans’ early career included research and advocacy roles, and their academic credentials include a PhD in Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and multiple degrees from California Polytechnic State University and California State University, Bakersfield.
