Spencer Owens currently serves as the City Clerk for the City of Shrewsbury, Missouri, a position held since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Government Relations Specialist at CBD Kratom from July 2021 to July 2023, and as a Municipal Aide for the City of Lawson from May 2019 to July 2021. Spencer Owens also worked in the Missouri House of Representatives, first as District Staff for Representative Randy Railsback in early 2021 and previously as a Legislative Intern for Representative Gina Mitten from January to May 2020. Additional experience includes serving as a Campaign Strategist for Rick Mellon’s state representative campaign in 2018. Spencer Owens earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Northwest Missouri State University, attending from 2019 to 2021, and also studied at William Jewell College in 2017 to 2018.
