Alonzo Smith has extensive experience in various roles primarily focused on compliance, safety, and program coordination. As the ADA Coordinator for the City of Shreveport since August 2012, Alonzo is responsible for ensuring compliance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act and handling related complaints. Additionally, Alonzo serves as a Safety Specialist II, conducting safety inspections and evaluating requirements for city departments to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. As the owner of Real Life Expressions LLC, Alonzo is involved in promoting small business growth and community development. Prior experience includes serving as a Program Coordinator for state and federal grant programs and a Custodian Supervisor for Caddo Parish Schools, managing a large team of custodial staff. Alonzo's career began at United Airlines, where various roles included developing in-house provisioning and supervising vendor services.
