As Vice President of the International Union of Police Associations since 2022, Richard Ruiz has played a key role in resolving issues efficiently and negotiating substantial contracts to enhance officers' pay and benefits. Additionally, Richard Ruiz has been a dedicated Police Officer for the City of Shawnee, OK since 2011, leading a specialized unit addressing violent and sex offenders, and acting as the primary negotiator for crisis situations. Richard Ruiz has pursued higher education at Oklahoma State University and Rose State College.
