Rob Saka, Esq. serves as a Seattle City Councilmember as of November 2023, following a term as Seattle City Councilmember-Elect for District 1. Previously, Rob held the position of Associate General Counsel at Meta, focusing on Reality Labs, and worked at Microsoft as a Product Attorney, providing cybersecurity legal support for engineering and data science teams. Rob's experience includes roles as a Commercial Attorney for King County and as a member of various civic committees, such as the King County Districting Committee and the Seattle Police Chief Search Committee. An accomplished attorney, Rob has worked with Perkins Coie LLP in technology transactions and privacy, advising clients on complex intellectual property agreements. Rob’s academic credentials include a J.D. from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Washington, and an Associate of Science in Communications Applications Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
