Lindsay Barker Call

Chief Resilience Officer at City of Santa Monica

Lindsay Barker Call has a diverse work experience in the field of emergency management and public health. Lindsay started their career as an Administrative Aide at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health in 2007. Lindsay then worked as a Public Health Preparedness Associate at Battelle from 2008 to 2009. Lindsay then held roles at the American Red Cross Santa Barbara County Chapter and the City of Santa Barbara Office of Emergency Services, where they coordinated disaster training and public education initiatives. In 2010, Lindsay joined the Providence Saint John's Health Center as the Safety Officer, Director of Emergency Management & Public Safety, and Community Ombudsperson, where they worked until 2016. Lindsay also briefly worked as a Special Project Analyst at the UCLA Center for Public Health & Disasters in 2010. Currently, Lindsay serves as the Chief Resilience Officer for the City of Santa Monica, a position they have held since 2017.

Lindsay Barker Call earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Development and African Studies from American University in 2006. Lindsay then completed their Master of Public Health in Emergency Public Health at UCLA Fielding School of Public Health from 2006 to 2008.
