Kevin Pate is an accomplished engineering professional currently serving as the City Engineer for the City of San Angelo since October 2017, while also operating as an Engineering Consultant with Joe Kevin Pate, P.E. since 2016. Kevin's extensive experience includes a tenure as Development Services Administrator for the City of Brownwood (2002-2015), where responsibilities encompassed administrative oversight, budget management, and various engineering and public works functions. Prior roles include Senior Engineer at Celanese Corporate Technical Center and Design Engineer at Flour Daniel, Inc., focusing on stress analysis and engineering design for complex mechanical systems. Kevin began a career in engineering with Chrysler Technologies Airborne Systems and served in the U.S. Navy before earning a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
