Ramon "Ray" Mendez, MPA, serves as the Neighborhood Services Manager for the City of Sachse, Texas, since March 2021, following a tenure as Senior Paralegal at DART from December 2019 to March 2021. Prior experience includes a retirement from the City of Farmers Branch where Ramon held roles as Code Enforcement Manager and Code Enforcement Officer. Ramon also worked as a Casualty Adjuster at USAA and held various positions over an 18-year career at the City of San Antonio, including Park Operations Manager and Assistant Director of Housing and Neighborhood Services. Early career experience includes roles as Legal Assistant and Paralegal in several law offices and government entities. Ramon holds both a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
