We’re the home of Jane, the world’s most complete and best preserved juvenile T.rex, at the Burpee Museum of Natural History; Anderson Japanese Gardens; the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Laurent House;  some of the best & most affordable golf in the Midwest; and Rockford City Market, which features local growers, vendors, live music & demonstrations. The Community and Development Services team at the City of Rockford, Illinois, is responsible for fostering economic growth, enhancing neighborhood revitalization, and ensuring quality community services. The team oversees economic development initiatives, housing and zoning regulations, land transactions, and code enforcement to maintain and improve the urban environment. They collaborate with various stakeholders, including city aldermen and community leaders, to implement and track public accountability in development projects. Through their efforts, they strive to create a vibrant, safe, and prosperous community for all Rockford residents.
