Linda Mitchell is an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in municipal finance. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant for the City of Rockford, Illinois since July 2021, Linda has previously held key roles including Chief Financial Officer at the North Park Public Water District and various positions within the City of Rockford from 2010 to 2020. Linda’s earlier experience includes accounting roles at Remedies | Renewing Lives and Sikich LLP, as well as internships with Heinold-Banwart, Ltd and Hamilton Sundstrand. Linda holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Bradley University, which was completed in 2008, and graduated with a high school diploma from Belvidere High School in 2003.
