Maureen Cleary, AMAA, has extensive experience in municipal assessment and administration, currently serving as City Assessor for the City of Red Deer since November 2015. Previous roles at the City of Red Deer include positions as Interim Controller - Revenue and Collections, Non-Residential Assessment Coordinator/Analyst, and Senior Assessor/Analyst. Prior to that, Maureen worked as an Assessor for the Town of Cochrane and the City of Airdrie. Early career experience included roles at the City of Grande Prairie and Midwest Surveys, enhancing skills in assessment and administrative support. Maureen is pursuing a Bachelor of Business in Real Estate at The University of British Columbia and a Local Authority Administration certification at the University of Alberta, complementing a strong educational background with diplomas and certificates in Urban Land Economics and Real Property Assessment from previous studies.
