Gary Stambaugh is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in various roles, primarily in government and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Business Systems Analyst for the City of Raleigh Municipal Government since May 2017, Stambaugh acts as a liaison between city departments and IT regarding the Enterprise Permitting & Licensing system, focusing on requirements analysis and system enhancements. Prior to this, Stambaugh held the position of Associate Director of IT at WakeMed for 15 years, overseeing administrative and operational applications. Additional experience includes roles as Program Manager at SAIC, Project Manager at Autometric Inc, and Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead at TRW Family of Companies, among others. Stambaugh holds a Master’s Degree in Technology of Management with a focus on Computer Project Management from American University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
