Mike Obermiller, PE, is a seasoned public works professional with extensive experience in engineering and management. Currently serving as the Public Works Operations Manager for the City of Poway since February 2021, Mike previously held roles including Deputy Assistant Operations for the U.S. Marine Corps Project Management Division at NAVFAC and Director of Public Works for the City of Poway, where responsibilities included overseeing significant personnel and budgets. Mike's background in the U.S. Navy includes various leadership positions, such as Assistant Regional Engineer and Executive Officer, where management of multi-million dollar budgets and large teams was pivotal. Mike's educational credentials include a Master of Science in Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Chico.
