Erica McKeddie is a skilled event coordinator and community liaison currently working with the City of Port Coquitlam since June 2022. Previously, Erica served as Chapter President for Vancouver Beyond The Blue, a non-profit organization focused on supporting families of law enforcement officers from April 2019 to September 2022. Erica also held the position of Administrative Manager at Denise Elliott Beauty Co. from September 2018 to June 2022, where responsibilities included managing correspondence and creating client documentation. Earlier experience includes roles as Student Life Coordinator and Logistics Coordinator at Douglas College, Principal Planner at Filosophi Events, and Owner of White Dahlia Weddings. Erica's educational qualifications include a First Responders Trauma Prevention and Recovery Certificate from Simon Fraser University, a BC Peer Worker Certificate, and an Associate of Arts in History from Douglas College, among other credentials in mental health.
