Dominic Long is an experienced professional in community safety and corporate services, currently serving as the Director of Community Safety & Corporate Services for the City of Port Coquitlam since August 2020. In this senior management role, Dominic leads multiple divisions, including Human Resources, Bylaw, Community Policing, Communications, Legislative Services, and Information Technology, while also acting as the Primary Police Contact for the City's RCMP detachment. Prior to this, Dominic held the position of Senior Manager of Community Safety at the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association from 2017 to August 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing safety and cleanliness policy implementation. Earlier in the career, Dominic served as Operations Manager at Securiguard Services Ltd. from 2014 to 2017 and had a role with Surrey Police from 2009 to 2013, contributing to various community safety initiatives.
