Brenda Yanez is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in public relations, journalism, and marketing. Currently serving as a Public Information Officer for the City of Phoenix since September 2015, Brenda has also held positions as a Public Relations/Communication Specialist at Torres Consulting and Law Group, LLC, and as a General Assignment/Special Projects Reporter at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Brenda's skills were further developed through various roles, including serving as a Marketing Director for Kidz Connextion Dental Centers and a Regional Sales Manager for Scranton Gillette Communications, Inc. Brenda holds a Master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Spanish from the University of Arizona.
