Doug Barth has extensive experience in the field of real estate appraisal and public service. Since 1984, Barth & Associates has provided appraisal services for various property types, while simultaneously serving as a California Probate Referee for San Luis Obispo County since 1996, specializing in estate asset appraisals for probate court. Barth also holds the position of Assessment Appeals Board Member with San Luis Obispo County and serves as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Paso Robles, contributing to regional and land use planning decisions. Previous roles include Staff Appraiser at San Luis Obispo County Assessor and Regional Staff Appraiser at Santa Barbara Savings & Loan. Barth earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 1973 and 1979.
