Chris Huot, ICMA-CM, currently serves as Interim City Manager and Assistant City Manager for the City of Paso Robles since January 2022. Previously, Chris held the position of Assistant City Manager for the City of Bakersfield from February 2011 to December 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing city operations, leading the annual budget development process, and managing various departments such as Public Works and Human Resources. Chris has also contributed to successful initiatives including Measure N, directed technology projects, and provided support across multiple city councils and community committees. Prior experience includes serving as Marketing and Events Specialist for the Bakersfield Convention and Visitors Bureau and as a Morning News Anchor at KFYO Radio. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communications and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Texas Tech University.
